What could be said about
Holly Van Wyck that hasn’t
already been said about
Ruth Bader Ginsburg?

Both achieved academic success on the hills of Ithaca, New York. Both are delightfully witty, and somehow manage to compose their sass in an elegant and articulate manner. Both graduated first in their class from Columbia Law School in 1959. And both are close personal friends of Barack Obama.

However, I am Holly Van Wyck and I decided that working at the Supreme Court just wasn’t the right “fit.” To each their own, RBG.

As one of two graphic designers of a global optical fiber company (OFS), I have been given the unique opportunity to create collateral, advertisements, infographics, tradeshow displays, and promotional videos in a business-to-business industry. Various internships and freelance opportunities have prepared me for my career of drawing fiber optic cable cross-sections, but I thrive on the opportunity to create the logo for your pretentious microbrew or that caricature of your pet poodle, Rex.

Honestly, I don’t think that Ginsburg would have the humility to shamelessly plug herself on the internet (hollyvanwyck.com) or the courage to distribute her e-mail address to strangers (hollycvanwyck@gmail.com), but I am willing to take that risk for you and your graphic design needs. And a paltry amount of money.

My mother told me to be a lady. And for her, that meant be your own person, be independent.
